Prayer Focus: 1 John 2:15-16 speaks on lust and loving the world. 15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.
Pray today for freedom from areas where you lust for things of this world.
Journal Focus: Lust - for us as Christians - could simply be defined as taking our eyes off the Cross and God’s will and looking for other worldly means of satisfaction. The list of people each of us knows that have been destroyed by this is quite long. Journal today about struggles you have faced and are currently facing with this battle against lust. How can you team with your spouse to encourage one another in your battles?
